At the start of year 2022, the Foundation had difficulties restarting it’s activities, although plans were made in advance to do so effectively, problems and delays still occured. We added something new – Program Time Keeper (PTK), to assist in making the equipments available for use even without a coach.

January had low session numbers (41) with attendance just around (362 kids), overall. This was because most of the coaches were tied up with their work and had difficulty making time to do sessions.

February saw a major increase in sessions (74) and attendance overall (1113 kids), more coaches were active during this month. Schools were sorting out their new teaching methods of (face to face, online or both) so this made more coaching time/session possibilities available for the coaches.

March in this month the session total (74) was the same as the previous month but the attendance slightly decreased (980 kids). At some locations other activities overshadowed table tennis sessions. Also in this month the VTTF / MCT project begun in Fancy and the Troumaca / Chateaubelair area. 

April had a major decrease in sessions (33) and session attendance (344 kids), mostly due to coaching locations becoming unavailable, school gave unexpected vocation and most of the coaches were tied up with their jobs. Also at this timing fundings became limited, so certain location activities stopped completely namely in union “where we were sending Level 2 coach Rodney Caruth as the Coordinator coach for that location”. However at the West St George Secondary School location, were we have Level 1 coach Daryl Franklyn. We held a Table Tennis training camp over the school vocation, while at other locations we had some regular coaching sessions being done.

Overall the Foundation is still striving to achieve its goal of creating continuous table tennis coaching sessions at the grassroot level all across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, for all ages.
