The images show a special presentation done at Troumaca Ontario Secondary School “above image” – for the Troumaca area program and at Fancy Government School “below image” – for the Fancy Program area.
The presentations covered support equipment distribution to the participants at both locations. This was done to celebrate the commitment shown in both attendance and participation of the kids, after the final camp of the first program year “2022 -2023”.
It was great seeing the participants of the first program year and a few new faces ready for the 2nd installment of this program “2023 – 2024” at the presentation.
The Administrative director of the UKFMCT https://mustiquecharitabletrust.com/uk-friends-of-the-mustique-charitable-trust/was present at each presentation and shared some brief remarks to the participants along with presenting the equipments. She explained the goals of these programs and the reasons behind the support given by the UKFMCT. Encouragement was also given to the participants and the coordinators, to continue the good work and learn from the previous year. This will allow for growth in the quality of the 2nd year.
Major Highlight
In October 2023, the VTTF w/UKFMCT sponsored grassroots programs contribute to a 100% increase in the SVGTTA National Table Tennis Championships Boys & Girls under 11 and under 15 categories. The numbers came from the Troumaca/Fancy areas.
The SVGTTA shared its appreciation for the work being done at the grassroots level and wishes for us to continue on this path.
VTTF Head Coach/Administrator Remarks
The support locally, regionally and internationally will be most welcomed. Getting those support is of high priority to keep the VTTF grassroots programs running and even to target/extend to more locations.
I cannot end without thanking the UK Friends of the Mustique Charitable Trust for their continued support. We endeavour to keep all programs running in a continuous manner and strive to meet the expectations of our donors.
